On November 7, 2013, at the inaugural function of the 41st National Convention of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), O. P. Dani (Vice Chairman, SAFIM; Executive Committee Member, Sri Aurobindo Society; and Former President, ICSI) of Noida Branch, Sri Aurobindo Society, and M. S. Srinivasan (Senior Associate at Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Integral Management [SAFIM]), at Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry, were jointly awarded the First Prize for their article published in the prestigious Chartered Secretary, the official journal of ICSI.
Their article, titled ‘Corporation Community and Development: An Integrated Approach to Corporate Responsibility’, was published in January 2012 issue of the journal. Daniji and Srinivasanji won the First Prize in the Corporate Governance (CG) and Corporate Social Governance (CSR) discipline for the article published in Vol. XLII (year 2012). The prize distribution ceremony was held at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, and the Convention was inaugurated by Justice B. N. Srikrishna, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, who delivered the keynote address and awarded the prizes to all the winners. Several eminent persons and experts including over 500 delegates from the government, regulators and the corporate sectors from across India attended this Convention.
