Half-a-day workshop on Happiness

SAFIM recently conducted half-a-day workshop “Happiness” at Sri Aurobindo Society, Pondicherry on 14th August 2017.

We all want to be happy. But how, exactly, do you go about it? Is money, wealth, power bring happiness in your life? Or something else…The experiential workshop explored different ways to help increase our feelings of happiness.

Happiness is an abstract and subjective matter. Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being. Generally we search for happiness outside. But our idea of happiness is all in our mindset. After all, what happens to us is mostly in our mind. It is possible to find happiness inside ourselves. It was experienced through many reflective sessions. Participants understood true meaning of happiness at four planes of our being and how to attain it. Total 13 participants actively took part in each session. They have given a very good feedback at the end of the workshop.

Feedback:

Very well planned & executed. Lot of interactive sessions & video clippings made it quite lively. It is suggested that since more senior people attended same Indian video’s might bring more connect.Dr. Chaitali Bhattacharya, IUSSTF.

It was extremely helpful to turn certain unturned points and have a different outlook from a multi-dimensional approach. The flow process was very interesting. The activities were worked out gladly. The programme provided a deep insight and guided meditation was beautifully calmed.  – Durga Prasad Gouda, NIT, BBSR.
